Appeal to Malayalis in America - please visit Anand Jon in the jail whenever you can

I have an appeal to the Malayalis in America - please visit Anand Jon in the jail wherever he is, whenever you can. Please give him some fellowship there. For so many years he has been in jail, right from 2007 onwards. Staying in jail is not an easy thing, it is a very dangerous and difficult place. Few months back I was reading an article in which it was saying that somebody in the jail stabbed Anand Jon in his face. There was also a photo of him with the stab wounds on his face. I felt very sad when I saw that picture.

I am appealing not only to Malayalis, but also to all Indians, and anybody who cares about the less fortunate in USA. He might have committed mistakes in his younger days, but that does not mean we have to abandon him forever like that in jail. He has realized his mistake and repented. I would like to quote one of the teachings of Jesus Christ from the Bible. It is about the time when He will come back in glory to rule the world.

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'. The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'"

So whatever you do for Anand Jon or for anybody who is suffering in jail or anywhere else, God will take note of it and reward you for it. If I was in America I would have definitely gone to visit him and given some fellowship to him. If God gives me an opportunity to still go, I will visit him. But I hope that he will be set free and I can visit him in a house itself rather than jail.

I think that he is now in a jail in California. I think that it is called R. J. Donovan Correctional Facility. The website of that jail is this - https://www.cdcr.ca.gov/facility-locator/rjd/ You can check out the terms and conditions for visiting the prisoners there from that site. When I first started the blog he was in a jail called Rikers Island jail in Manhattan. But later on they brought him back to California because he was sentenced to jail there. Shashi Abraham and Sanjana Jon, if you are reading this, please put the details of the jail where Anand is currently located in a comment to this post.
