Appeal to Malayalis in America - please visit Anand Jon in the jail whenever you can

I have an appeal to the Malayalis in America - please visit Anand Jon in the jail wherever he is, whenever you can. Please give him some fellowship there. For so many years he has been in jail, right from 2007 onwards. Staying in jail is not an easy thing, it is a very dangerous and difficult place. Few months back I was reading an article in which it was saying that somebody in the jail stabbed Anand Jon in his face. There was also a photo of him with the stab wounds on his face. I felt very sad when I saw that picture.

I am appealing not only to Malayalis, but also to all Indians, and anybody who cares about the less fortunate in USA. He might have committed mistakes in his younger days, but that does not mean we have to abandon him forever like that in jail. He has realized his mistake and repented. I would like to quote one of the teachings of Jesus Christ from the Bible. It is about the time when He will come back in glory to rule the world.

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'. The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'"

So whatever you do for Anand Jon or for anybody who is suffering in jail or anywhere else, God will take note of it and reward you for it. If I was in America I would have definitely gone to visit him and given some fellowship to him. If God gives me an opportunity to still go, I will visit him. But I hope that he will be set free and I can visit him in a house itself rather than jail.

I think that he is now in a jail in California. I think that it is called R. J. Donovan Correctional Facility. The website of that jail is this - https://www.cdcr.ca.gov/facility-locator/rjd/ You can check out the terms and conditions for visiting the prisoners there from that site. When I first started the blog he was in a jail called Rikers Island jail in Manhattan. But later on they brought him back to California because he was sentenced to jail there. Shashi Abraham and Sanjana Jon, if you are reading this, please put the details of the jail where Anand is currently located in a comment to this post.

Most parts of this blog will be deleted by August 31st 2022

Hello everybody!

Greetings to everyone in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! I hope that everybody is doing well.

I have decided to delete most of the parts of this blog, especially the posts which I wrote in 2012 and 2013 which are unnecessarily judgemental about Anand Jon and his family. They were all written out of my ahankaram, not out of any spirit of service towards Lord Jesus Christ. They are not only insulting to Anand Jon and his family, but they are also insulting towards our Lord Jesus Christ. Everybody who has read them, I will urge to please forget them. I will retain some of the posts which I wrote later on, after Jesus Christ corrected my sinful way. Instead of being critical please pray for Anand Jon. Please pray that he be released from prison and that he serve the Lord for the rest of his days. Please pray for me and my family also, that we may continue to serve the Lord.

Apology to Shashi Abraham and Sanjana Jon

Dear Shashi Abraham and Sanjana Jon,

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!

Hope you are happy and doing well!

I want to humbly apologize to you for all the evils I wrote about you on this blog back in 2012 and 2013. I don't know why I wrote such terrible things. I was taken over by my own ahankaaram, I had forgotten Jesus Christ when I wrote all that. Please think about me as your younger brother and forgive me for all that. I humbly beg your forgiveness.

I appreciate the struggle you are waging for Anand Jon. Sometimes when I have watched your videos in Youtube, tears have fallen from my eyes. I can feel the pain you are going through. Instead of giving you my support I added pain on top of your pain. How wicked that was of me! I pray for Anand Jon whenever I can. I have been praying for his release from prison. I hope that God will hear our prayers and Anand will be free and out of jail soon.

I am very happy to read that Anand has turned his life around in jail. He has accepted responsibility for his mistakes, I praise God for that! Ironically one good thing that prison does is that it keeps a person free from worries of the world. A person can devote himself full time to God when in prison and praise God through the works he brings forth. There is a lot that Anand can do while he is still in the prison. He can be a theologian, he can be a writer, a musician, an artist, he can do lots of good work. He can earn a reputation that can be greater than those of us who are outside jail. Please convey my regards and my message to him. I would really love to hear good things about him.

I will pray for Anand whenever I can. Just now while I was writing this I prayed for him. I am certain that our most merciful God will free him from prison sometime in the future. I pray that Anand will come out of prison and praise God for His mercy.

Happy new year to you, hope Jesus Christ fills all our lives with great joy and peace in the coming year and in every year in future!

Character is much more important than reputation

Hello all my dear friends, brothers, sisters, sons and daughters all over the world!

Greetings to you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!

First of all let me wish you a very happy and prosperous new year 2022! May God continue to bless and protect us in this year, as He miraculously protected and blessed us in all the past years!

2021 too was a difficult year for many of us around the world. The Delta variant of the coronavirus wreaked havoc in India and all over the world. Another variant called Omicron has just started. I pray to God that He show mercy on us and protect us from this pandemic. May this pandemic go away soon, and our world be blessed by God again so that people can shake hands and hug each other like before.

I was reading a message recently in the internet which said that character is far more important than reputation. I meditated on it and realized that how true it is. Many times people artificially try to build a reputation for themselves by advertising about themselves to the whole world that how great they are. But in reality when nobody is watching their behaviour will be very wicked. They do all kinds of evil in their private life. Eventually one day they will get caught. When their acts and deeds are exposed, their whole reputation which they artificially built for themselves will collapse like a pack of cards. But for people of good character, there is no need to artificially build a reputation to show separately to the world. Their reputation is built by their character itself. When they do good deeds, naturally they will gain reputation and that will stay with them for their whole life. Even hundreds of years after they are no longer in the world their reputation will remain because of their good character. Remember Gandhiji's words, "If character is lost, then everything is lost!".

So my advice to all people, especially young people is that we must be much more concerned about our character than our reputation. Even if people spread lies about us and try to give us a bad name, if we continue with our good character, eventually our reputation will come back unblemished. Those who tried to spread lies about us will get the bad name themselves because of their evil actions. It does not mean that we have to be perfect every time also. Mistakes will happen. None of us are perfect. But wwe must readily accept our mistakes. That itself is a sign of good character. But if we try to cover up our mistakes or try to blame others, that is not a good thing.

Apart from character, humility is also very important. Humility is also part of good character. Humility does not mean that we should think of ourselves are less than others. It means that we must think of everybody else as equal to us. Sometimes we think that we are always right, others are wrong, etc. Instead, we must think that others can be as much right as us, we must accept that there is a possibility of us also to be wrong. So we must approach everybody with utmost respect. We must never try to exploit anybody else, no matter what their condition in life may be. Situations of life are in God's hands.

Once again, Happy New Year to all, wherever in the world you are. May God bless and protect us in His hands this year, as every year in future!
