How Anand Jon was caught

He had called a girl called Jessie B to his apartment after promising her that he will give some fashion modelling work. But he raped her. She went to police and complained. Then after that many of the other girls who were keeping quiet also came out and complained. Below I am copy - pasting an article from mid - day about the case:

Jessie B, an online lover of the fashion designer sentenced to 59 years in jail, was the first woman who accused him of rape Till March 3, 2007, life was wonderful for fashion designer Anand Jon. What happened the next day changed it forever. Jon's MySpace friend called Jessie B visited his Los Angeles home on March 4 and stayed the night. On March 5, Jessie complained to the police that Jon had raped her and the next day he was arrested. Jessie B's complaint brought about a flurry of other girls aged between 14 and 20 saying Jon had assaulted them too.

The saga finally ended when Jon was convicted of all the crimes in November and yesterday sentenced to a minimum of 59 years in jail.

Sister says...

Said the designer's sister Sanjana Jon, "This girl had visited my brother at his residence from the Northwest that night.

She was fine in the morning and even went for lunch with the wife of Jon's partner, Patrick F. Jon had removed Patrick from the board of directors of his company.

After lunch, she threatened my brother and later went on to complain of rape." Sanjana believes Patrick could have something to do with Jessie's complaint.

She added, "The medical reports of the rape are negative. It is clear that there was no forceful sex. Even the lie detector test came in favour of my brother.

A Indian brown boy has been a victim of racism."

Jessie's rape charge against Jon was his most serious offence. The other 15 charges included sexual molestation like attempting a kiss and performing lewd acts on a child.

Anand Jon's family

Anand Jon's family consists of his mother Shashi Abraham and his sister Sanjana Jon.

His father was a central government employee. He is a scholarly person with a lot of interest in history and management. After retirement he was a visiting professor in a management college.

Anand Jon's father and mother divorced when he was young.

Shashi Abraham's sister Prabha is married to the singer K. J. Yesudas. They also have one brother called Thomaskutty. They are from the Modayil Valiyaveetil family.

After divorce, Shashi Abraham went to London to study cosmetology. Then she came back to India and opened a chain of beauty parlours called My Fair Lady. She also used to run some other businesses also, like flight catering. Anand Jon and his sister was brought up by their maternal grandmother and maternal grandfather when they were young.

Who is Anand Jon

Anand Jon is an Indian man, he is a fashion designer. He was living in Kerala first, then he moved to Chennai. After that he went to America.

In America, h was found guilty of sexually assaulting young girls and women, and so the court sentenced him to 59 years in prison. Nowadays he is in Rikers Island jail in Manhattan.

In 2008 he was found guilty, and since then he has been in jail.

He is also facing charges in Texas and New York also for sexual assault.

I am somewhat interested in Anand Jon's case. He has been sentenced to 59 years in jail in America. His family and all is saying that he is innocent and that he has been framed and all that. They are saying that he is a victim of racism, but in America so many Indians are there, nobody is saying that they are victims of racism.
