In 2013, I had written a blog asking who is Anand Jon's father. That time I didn't know anything at all about Anand Jon's father, so I wrote a lot of undeducated comments about him. I wrote that either he is a great saint or a great sinner. Today, after more than 7 years, I have come to know lot more about Anand Jon's father, Mr. Alexander, by making enquiries through many people. I will write about him, but I will mask some of the facts because I don't want to violate his or his family's privacy.
I have learned that Mr. Alexander is a person of high education and status. After completing engineering degree, he had gone abroad and did MBA. He was a central government employee in a reputed organization. He was also a national level sportsman representing Kerala state. He is a very scholarly person with deep interest in history and management and has even written a book on history himself. His father (Anand Jon's grandfather) was also a very scholarly person who had a doctorate in chemistry and was the principal of a reputed college. Their whole family is a family of scholars. After divorce from Shashi Abraham, he married a very virtuous lady and they have 2 sons. Both those boys followed the example of their father and they are both well educated, well settled professionals.
Sanjana Jon looks like him only. I was thinking, how nice it would have been if Anand Jon had followed his father's example! I am not saying that he also should have been an engineer, he is free to choose whatever he is interested in. But he should have behaved decently with his fellow human beings around him. It is because he did not do that why he is in jail now. He acted purely out of ahankaaram and sense of entitlement. If he had learnt even a little bit from his father and paternal grandfather, all this would not have happened to him.
Dear Mr. Alexander, my greetings to you. Please understand me as your younger brother and forgive me for all the uneducated nonsense which I wrote about you earlier. I hope that the US courts will release your son Anand Jon at least because of respect for your goodness and of your father. I hope that after coming out of jail he will come and meet you, and at least now still learn something from you. May God bless you and your family abundantly!

We should all accept responsibility for our actions
First of all let me wish everybody a happy new year! I hope the new year will be better than last year for us.
I was remembering a story which I studied when I was in school. There was a King who decided to visit a jail in his kingdom to talk to prisoners who were jailed there. He spoke to them and asked them what they had learned while they were in the jail, whether they had improved their lives. All the prisoners he spoke to were blaming their circumstances, other people for their condition. The king was highly disappointed to hear everyone say like that. Only one prisoner told the king that he had reflected on his life, and he realized that it was all due to his mistakes only. When the kind heard that, he was very impressed and he ordered that prisoner to be freed.
One thing which I want to tell to young people all over the world is that we should take responsibility for our actions always. As I have told before many times, none of us are perfect. All of us have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Many times, out of our weakness we may commit certain acts which might hurt others. Our natural reaction is to disown responsibility or to blame others. We should never do that. That will make our fellow beings lose repect for us, and God displeased with us. But if we accept our mistakes and ask forgiveness from God, He will forgive us with open arms!

Anand Jon will be free some day
Few months back I had a dream in which I dreamed that Anand Jon was released from jail. I believe that it is God's way of telling me that he will be free one day. I pray for him whenever I can, and so many people are also praying for him. It may not happen today or tomorrow, it may take a few years, but he will definitely be free. Let us all pray for him.
When he eventually becomes free, he should only thank God for His mercy towards him. Sanjana Jon and Shashi Abraham should not go around saying that he was found innocent so he was released. They should also testify to God's mercy.
